solid cherry and mahogany;
the figure in the mahogany edge is called “crotch” because it comes from the intersection of trunk with branch;
built for the office of the president of the company.

Design drawing for executive library tables built in mahogany. Library table design-drawing submitted to the client for review and approval;
the plan view shows the location of the central supports while the elevation shows their configuration;
designed and built by us in solid mahogany;
inspired by a 19th-century English piece in recognition of the Fund’s history, which can ultimately be traced to 1880’s London;
the original 19th-century piece is in the Gothic revival style;
since the Fund’s headquarters are modern, the only Gothic details retained
from the original are the arch fragments in the base.
